SPAIN IN THE FINAL

Spain beat Germany last night in the semi final to setup mouthwatering match against Holland in the World Cup final. Holland or Spain have never won a World Cup before to the outcome will be interesting the say the least. A Carlos Puyol bullet header was enough to see Spaniards through with Spain hitting their stride at the right time. Start striker David Villa added, “When we play our best football we’re very hard to stop,”

“That was the best Spain have played at this World Cup,” said midfielder Sergio Busquets.

“We are so happy right now and we need to savour it,” added team-mate Andres Iniesta. “We played a great game and no one can argue we don’t deserve to be in the Final.”

Vicent Del Bosque’s men showed why they are current European Champions, seeing off an impressive German side, who had easily overcome England and Argentina in previous rounds. So now is all comes down to the Final on Sunday, will it be Holland? Will it be Argentina? We shall see, but one thing is for certain. We are in for one hell of match up.
